Sugar Danburite cluster on golden chalcopyrite matrix. Cream color chisel-top Danburite crystals, "sugar-coated" with sparkling druzy quartz crystals. We acquired this piece from an old collection, it was originally collected in the 90s. Mina La Aurora (the Aurora mine) in Charcas, Mexico is a world renowned Danburite locality. But the Aurora mine is closed these days, most Danburite specimens from this locality is older material, mined years ago.
