Sugar Danburite cluster with two clear gemmy chisel-top terminations, "sugar-coated" with sparkling quartz druzy and a cluster of icy quartz crystals at the base. The feature that makes this piece so fascinating is the color and quartz growth is perfectly split 50/50 down the center of the Danburite crystals. An exceptional sugar Danburite specimen, one of the most unique ones we've seen. Mina La Aurora (the Aurora mine) in Charcas, Mexico is a world class Danburite locality. Danburite mineral specimens, especially clusters from this locality are a rare find nowadays, since the has mine closed. This small cabinet piece is from my personal collection.
